I am needing to wash my house so I think I fill find a craigslist hack to do it. Anyone ever tried something like this? It seems these guys are struggling :crying: so If i can put a dime in their pockets :eek:k: and make them feel a little better during christmas time who is to say its wrong? :jester: Ill just make sure that i have all the rigs lined up in the yard when they pull up with their troy built to wash my house. Seems in the 16 years they have in the cleaning business you would think they have at least some sort of skid. :nono:

I am thinking I may want my house brushed so I may also give these guys a shot after the initial cleaning is done to make sure I have a great job done. Who knows I may arrange them to be here at the same time. :thank_you2:

And I may even think about getting my grass cut just to add to the ciaos.

So to the guy wanting us to take a hack to lunch. Do I win?

Maybe it is just me but I would want to see some insurance card or certificate. Accidents do happen, the guy could be walking and trip over his hose or h.d. machine and the wand go through your window and start spraying the inside of the house, hope he was not downstreaming bleach at the time, hate to see what that would do to carpet, clothes, decorations, furniture, etc...

After seeing some of the hacks in this area, even if I had the money, I would still do the job myself because I have seen first-hand what damage a lot of the local guys have done and I can just about guarantee that they don't have any insurance so when, not if, something gets damaged I would really be P'off about the whole situation and knowing that when I take them to court, there is no law that will make them pay a dime. Judgements are worthless unless you are an attorney and know the laws so you can take and sell their personal property to recover your money.

Ok, I am done ranting now. hahahahaha

I'm staying out of this one this time! LOL! My last post about a craigslist guy started the whole "take a hack to lunch" thing.

"Take a hack to lunch" guy had a few good points though. Times are tough. Alot of people have been laid off. Besides the negative effects on the industry, I give them credit for trying.

I think you may be out of luck with the grass cutting. That could read that he cuts concrete. I am not sure though with how professionally his ad is put together and all...:yikes:

That is a sin dude. Ya gotta respect that old growth oak. And no I am not a tree hugger. I just appreciate old growth oak.

This oak is about 45 minutes south of me.It's pretty cool to see in person. Some of the branches are supported by steel frames.

That is a huge tree!

We have a lot of large, old oak trees here but not quite that big.

That is nice that they are trying to help it.
