Who has Health Insurance.....Better question is who doesn't have it?

Chris Tucker in a posted said he didn't...........Just had a Heart Attack:bad:

I have been covering my family with Blue Cross & Blue Shield for over 20 yrs now !!! and I got to say it has gone up every year at a pretty big rate. When I first got our policy for me and my wife, I was paying around $800.00 bi monthly for an 80/20 $500.00 deductible. I now pay $2200.00 bi monthly for the same exact policy I have had for 20 yrs !! Being self employed has it's good and bad points.

Add fuel costs, labor, chemicals, equipment purchases and repairs then throw in all your household and shop expenses, throw in Buisness Insurance and if your lucky you have something left over to brag about...lol...then your kid tells you there getting married and they want a big wedding.....ENOUGH ALREADY !!! Screw this I'm going to bed.

I pay 857 for blue cross blue shield for me my wife and 4 kids. They are talking about when it renews it will go up. I was told if I have it don't drop it because it will be twice as hard to get it back.

We have an HSA eligible high deductible plan for my wife and I. Deductible started at like 10k and drops 1k every 6 months that we don't meet it. Now its at about 6k. Premium went up 20% this year, but I can't complain cause its still under $400 per quarter. Ahh the perks of being young.....

I am in the same boat as Nick, but not with Blue cross, and not with that low deductible. Ours is $5000. Problem is that Nick and I are both in a pool with a lot of old people. The rate state by state, and the more old people there are, the higher the rates.

I'm with JBurd. We have a high deductible catastrophic plan. It's me, my wife, and 2 kids. We pay closer to 600/qtr and our deductible is about 7500 w/ 100% coverage after. We had an incident the other year though and we learned that the 100% coverage is only on what the insurance company thinks is a reasonable price. For our $1000 abmulance ride 5 miles across town, our insurance only allowed 300 to go towards our deductible...
I've been doing a little shopping since, but confusion about obamacare has many insurance brokers lost.

Well I have to say one thing, since I have been in FL I have used this policy. I have had back surgery & both shoulders done for rotator, and 3 colonoscopies that's always worth the money Good Times !! Once they even did an endoscopy of my throat & colonoscopy at the same time? I thought something tasted like $hit when I woke up...They probably used the same scope to save money...RAT BASTARDS !!

But I got to tell you one thing, when you have great insurance you never have to worry about not being taken care of top shelf. Without it, hell I honestly think they will leave you for dead before taking care of you. I have a cousin who never had insurance and I seen the difference in care, No Thanks I will keep paying as long as I am physicaly able to !!
