Ron what do you expect from a question like that, really?

I mean Delco, Dan, Greg and all the other boards could post that same question then claim if enough say I made more money they would take credit for it.

I would say 65% of the people here have learned things from all the boards, not one but all since some only post on one or two boards.

I would put this in the same catagory as who are your accounts and how much do you charge them.

Most are not going to answer that question nor this one.

My opinion only and not intended as a way to start a long fighting post.

Ron, I'll answer. I have made no more or less money. My core business is brick cleaning and very few posts affect my current business signicantly. That said, I hope to do work outside of this area and that is why I frequent this and other boards. Had hoped I would have done more house and deck washing this year, but that has not happened. Being an optomist, I predict that I can answer your question as "yes" next year. Thanks, B2

This bb has saved me time and money on a lot of my jobs.

With all the invo on equipment and chemicals, yes it helped me make money!

Dont forget the things that money cant buy:

meeting a lot of good people
The feeling you gey by helping others out
Knowing if you run it to a problem, you can get a answer on this bb.

Jon, I don’t think anyone is going to argue. I would like to know your decision. Has this BBS not any other helped you? I’m certainly not taking any personal credit for your success. All members here have contributed to the BBS and can all accept your thankyou. Just like we can thank you for being and active member with much to learn from.

Jon it’s a simple poll YES or NO or does not affect. I think your answer is yes but I’m not sure.


By the way I have made lots more money with ideas and networking I have done on this BBS. I will even give one example. I received a 3000.00 job via this BBS from another contractor. That was nice. The ideas put in motion here are great.

I have read and learned from many of yours and other's posts. I consider this board a great tool to steer a newbie like myself in the right direction.

I have recently purchased a Landa Water Jet, 6x12 tandem trailer, x-jet, 24' wand, 250 gallon water tank, chem. tank, 200' hose, hose reel and many other accessories. I researched evry purchase through this board.All of these are purchases that have and will enable me to make more money.

Where did I learn about these products, chemicals, insurance, and countless other things.?...from you, Jon, Warren Smathers, Beth and Rod, Tim Hayes and some many others that I can not mention them all.


Once again, thank you for your engaging and generous spirit. This is a large world made smaller by the likes of you and others with the same attitude. I plan on contributing soon.There is enough for everyone.

I also have made many friends and a few enemies but that is the nature of things with someone like me.

Yes this bb along with some others have helped me make more money because of what I learned and how I applied it to my business. I can't see how a bb in this field really can't help anyone and if that is the case then why would they even bother to come here??

Plus the FRIENDSHIPS made here with fellow cleaners are priceless :)
 
My first job was a small deck that I spent 8 hours on and used $400 in retail grade products. That same deck today would cost me $90 in materials and take about 1.5 hours. So yes, finding the right way to do things via the boards has made/saved me a ton of money.
