Last month while putting on new QC's and nozzles on i added a little blue marine grease and a sqirt of PB Blaster on the Teflon tape. Changed out my hose QC's today and they came off like butter. Didint have to heat the surface cleaner bar to change nozzles today either. spraying ds injector every couple days with PB Blaster seems to help the QC bearings and injector last longer. Little fyi hope it helps

Mick looks like business on your mind has you up late also. When the nozzles are basically frozen from rusting. I will heat the spray bar around the nozzles with a propane torch to melt the Teflon tape slightly. Also the heat will slightly expand the bar which makes for easier wrenching. Doesn't take much time heating it. 30 seconds or so.
You can heat frozen nuts or bolts to prevent damage, striping or snaping. Works great if working on old rusted metal. PB Blaster is amazing penetrating oil a little go far.

No, not up late. I posted mid afternoon here In Perth. In 16 years of business, I've never has an issue removing nozzles. Ever tried "anti seize"on the threads? You must have horrendous water quality where you are,if yr nozzles are rusting.

I have never had a problem removing nozzles, plugs, couplers or anything else when using teflon tape.
