As for toys, A new phone, basically because I needed another phone for one of my crew leaders. He gets my old one, and I get the latest and greatest.

My mom used to do the combo present thing. I hated it, my brothers and sisters used to get the same type of presents for their birthdays, and they did not get the combo present thing. My wife is outstanding and takes really good care of me, not inly does she remember my birthday, and my Mom often forgot, but it is usually pretty good.
Another pet peeve, Birthday presents in Christams paper.

FWIW, all of my children were born between March and May. NO chance of them getting a combo present.
