Gutter streaks

When doing an estimate for house washing, do you add in the price for brushing gutters with black streaks or do you break it down and give them a seperate price for the gutter?

I break it down.

Anybody have any good before & after pics to show of gutter streaks?

I used to add it in but a few months ago I started to break it down. Not once has a customer said no to the add on gutter streak removal and I get can charge what its worth because they can see the value of it.This switch made my prices go up.I break everything down to the last detail.

I do the gutters and just have it in my pricing. To me a clean house with dirty gutters looks like crap.

I wish I had the pictures I took a couple years ago. I had this condo complex that i was trying to get them to hire me. It was 20 buildings with inner cortyards and they had gutters in there that on many were absolutly black. I set up a meeting with the PM and a few of the HOA board members and prior I went in and did a sample cleaning on one wall and the gutters

When I walked them up to the building, I was pointing out the black all over the gutters, then I asked them to turn around and told them to look at the gutter we brushed. I'm telling you a couple of them just said WOW and another just had her mouth open. I Got the job, they told me the gutters had been bad for years and no one thought that anything could be done with them

got to love the gutter cleaners

I use Gutter Zap. I have a gallon of Gutter Grenade but I haven't tried it yet. I am going to start breaking out the price for gutter cleaning now.

This was a GS cleaned gutter. I was including gutter cleaning in my normal house wash service but have since started offering different levels of house wash services. Gutter brushing is now an upgrade, but well worth it.

I hate when people dont take the gutter wash, especailly when they really need it. I love how nice they can come out and when the HO goes, wow

What's the best product you've found to clean the gutter streaks and where do you purchase it? Also, is there any product you've found that does not require contact/brushing?
