Gun won�t pull chemical with soap tip on?

Hey out there.
I've got a brand new gun that will pull chemical without a tip installed,but with tip installed nothing but water. If I use my old gun with same tips works fine. Im lost??
 
Figured out that the 3gpm machine must be too small for the gun. Put gun on my 5gpm and it pulled chemical. Strange but worked.
