Grinnell is a hood cleaning company and a fire suppression company in this area, New England. They were Tyco. Tyco bought a lot of small companies, both fire suppression and hood cleaners. Then they became Grinnell offering both services. I guess that was about 10 years ago. The customer comments have varied from "they are wonderful" to the exact opposite. I did lose several customers because they offered both services. The Tyco name got them into the big jobs like hospitals. The quality of the hood cleaning seems to have dropped off considerably in the past few years. Have any of you guys got anything to share about Grinnell?

They offer a big menu of fire supression services all up and down the east coast. They go by Grinnell and Simplex-Grinnell. They are huge in build outs for alarmed fire suppresion systems. I have allways been impressed with thier supression work and the do not sub the fabrication out so it seems very consistent.
I have not seen any of thier KEC work so I can't say anything about them there.
 
Im certified to install and repair simplex-grinnell fire supression systems.....................................................on airplanes.

Maybe if the kitchen was 30,000 feet in the air.
