The picture below is what pilots see on approach to Offutt AFB, NE, just south by Hwy 75. The farmer patriot has done this every fall for the past few years and reportedly uses GPS to get the letters readable. As a footnote, Offutt used to be the home of Strategic Air Command and now houses STRATCOM.
