Great Time At Florida Roundtable !

Apple Roof Cleaning

Roof Cleaning Instructor
Speaking for me, I had a great time at the Lakeland, FL Roundtable.
I arrived Friday evening, and was told by Ron to wait in Hotel Lobby.
Went to bar instead, met a girl, Ron arrived, we had some beers.
Finally wound up at the Wing House had dinner, and I went home.
Arrived the next day at 10.30 for the Actual Rountable.
Ron and Kory did a great job running things, and a great Sealer Demo was put on by a nice guy Jon Chapman invited.
Ron took us outside for a stencil demo.
Several of us won prizes, I won an O Ring Kit.
We had a great lunch at Golden Corral, and came back for more classroom training by Ron.
We talked about the next Florida Roundtable, it is going to be in Tampa!
Between the prizes, demo's, lunch, and dinner, there was plenty of time for networking and fellowship with other contractors.
I got to meet Jimmy and his partner Russ from Rhodes Roof Cleaning In Lakeland.
Even helped them close a sale, LOL
It was the least I could, since I bummed cigarettes from him all day.
I smoke Cigars, kinda hard to do on a 5 minute smoke break.

I got to meet Nick The Cleaner for the first time, JetStream, two brothers with a nice new rig, Steve Button who makes NICE proposal graphics and text, and Spencer from Brandon.
I am sure I forgot to mention everyone I met cause my head is still swimming.
The ONLY regret I have is NOT having a picture of "The Twins" I met.
That was quite a pair of headlights.
But Ron and Kory are my witnesses :D
Again, thank you Kory and Ron, for doing it, and thanks to everyone who attended.

Chris it sounds like you all had a real good time at the RT. I NOW regret that I did not go. Im sure that I would have really enjoyed it.
Although I did not attend the actual RT I did however watch it from home on the live feed that Ron had setup. I must say, although at times it was a bit hard to hear I still enjoyed it. There were a bunch of guys on the chat board and a few had web cams. It was good seeing Big Ash, Scott, and of course Scrappy Doo! Got to chat with a bunch of the guys and we all had a good time goofing around.... Thank you Ron for providing us with the live feed and for letting us take part in the on line drawings. I'm especially grateful because I got to win the 12 volt delevan pump that Bob from pressure tech donated. Heck I almost fell out of my chair when I heard my name. I never win anything! That was a real shocker! Thank You Bob!
I am going to try my best not to miss the RT in MB. I would really like to meet all of you guys. :)
Sincerely,
Larry

I watched a portion of it on the PWI/Yahoo. What a great tool to have an on line meeting and or class. The sound was not good but the idea and package was simply great. Thanks guys.:) :) :) :)

i think every one shoot get a web cam and we should start doing once a month sessions for the different sections of our industry IE KEC, Comm Flat Work, RESI Stuff and so on . . i know me and ash had a hell of a time LOL

That sounds like a great Idea Scrappy! I'm sure it would be a big hit. :)

Can someone give us the names in the picture.

Hey All,

Thanks! I personally had a great time seeing you all and seeing the wisecracks and goofing off online, since I had no sound for some reason, from some of the attendees. It made me feel like there are a lot of good guys out there in the business and I look forward to getting to know all of you. I used to do the old versions of forums called BBS but found I spent a lot of wasted time back then when I could have been out making a living :) Now, with video and audio and a much more streamlined chat and Yahoo LIVE. WOW! What an amazing tool for education and bringing concepts and people together. In a word, awesome. Most of you guys don't know me because I haven't participated on these boards in a long time. But I am going to start getting more involved again as I am learning again even after being in the game over 20 years off and on. I want to say to all of you that post on this board, thanks for being here and for taking the time to share your hard earned knowledge with others for the betterment of all who spray fluids for money.
I hope I can also be of benefit and be of help to the newbie or the guy or gal that wants to make his or her life better through owning or running a pressure cleaning/roof cleaning business. In closing, I had a lot of fun learning some of the names of you folks and got a chance to put faces with the names too. I hope there are more of these LIVE discussion GROUPS in the near future. Have a TERRIFIC Day! Rubber Side Down, Dave

I "fixed" the picture digitally.
Here is another "interpretation" of that group shot of the first of many Florida Roundtables to come :)

I really enjoyed the round table experience from my comfortable leather chair. Of course it would have been great to be there but we still had a great time with our 1 liners.

Between the occasional audio and the wise ass closed captioning it was entertaining and educational. I'm in for a monthly video conference. Great idea.

Thanks to the guys that put it on and sponsors.
