Awesome games. Two years in a row the super bowls has been good
 
I feel the game could have been better if there weren't so many personal fouls called. But overall the game comtinued to be exciting. I kind of felt sorry for Werner, he had high hopes to reach the top once again. I do have my doubts whether he will be back next season unless there is alot of money riding on his decision. Hugh
 
That was a good game and I don't even watch football all that often.
 
How about the 100 yard run? I thought that was awesome!
 
that big ass LB ran like no other! he needed oxygen after that, LOL.

However i think the refs were biased. They didn't call a couple of obvious fouls of the steelers, i think the refs were steelers fans, lol.

but it rly was a good game. even though i lost $50 :(
 
Great Game, too bad someone had to lose.
I can't BELIEVE Ariizona allowed Santonio Holmes to get in the corner of the end zone ?
There was NO chance of a running play, the Steelers had NO timeouts!
There were 3 safetys near Holmes.
Someone blew an assignment, OR it was a Pick ?
I was pulling for Arizona, since they are the NFC team, and Tampa is an NFC town.
My town put on a HELL of a Super Bowl.
 
As a Green Bay fan (used to live in WI), all I wanted was a good game, which I got! Biggest surprise for me? Goal line defense of Arizona - stopped 'em 3 times when the Steelers had 1st and goal.

I agreed with John Madden that even if Harrison didn't quite make the end zone, he still should be given the touchdown. lol Amazing.
 
And then to see Harrison's flagrant personal foul (punching a down player) ruined the magic.
He should have been ejected.
 
Absolutely, he should have been ejected. And the Cards held them for 6 straight plays at the goal line. They got hit for roughing the holder on the field goal, from the one yard line, and so the steelers got a another four plays to try, and did not make it. So much for having a lousy defense. I have to agree, there were far too many personal fouls, and many that were not called. It did not seem, with all the emotion, that the fouls were called fairly.
And I still have to ask myself, how in the world did Roethlisberger keep from beign sacked more times?
 
I might be the only guy who didnt watch it, nor did I know who was playing till a friend told me at dinner on Friday.
 
Im a Green Bay fan too, lol. But yeah, Rothlisberger or however you spell his name had crazy elusiveness. Sometimes dodged 3-4-5 defenders.

The game wasn't called fairly a lot of times, especially a couple of intentional grounding from rothlisberger, but oh well, it was one heck of a game until the end.

Why??? Were they airing Beaches at the same time.:confused:
 
Cardinals has the best come back in super bowl history. I wounder how much the refs made for all the personal fowles they called on the Cardinals lol.
