Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd share with you a company that I'm using here locally in San Diego who I buy degreaser from. It is a caustic that works great even diluted 1:4. If you do any restaurant storefronts, backs, or dumpster bays, then you might want to try it. I believe it's fairly high in Sodium Hydroxide (the magic chemical breaking down the oils, fats, and greases). I think it's about $40.00 per 5 gal jug, but they can sell you 55 gal drums as well for less. Just call for pricing. The stuff is called: Hurrican LF. (Hurricane Low Foam)
Call Dick Eshbach at (619)474-6494. Just tell him if your out of state and that Barry from Enviro Pressure Wash referred you. I'm not getting a dime for this. It's just a fairly new chemical that I had him make up for me that works great! I had been using KO's Vent Hood degreaser which also works great, but was pretty expensive. Feel free to ask him any questions about it and he can even fax you a MSDS sheet.........If any of you try it out, let me know what you think!
