Got Hose'd

Stopped by a local supplier this afternoon. Said I'll take 100' of hose. He hands me the invoice. This clown wanted $269 plus tax for a damn hose! I need it for a job tomorrow. He saw my jaw hit the floor.. And told him he's out of his mind!

I still ended up paying way too much... Walked out of the store paying $204.87
My own fault for waiting till the last minute... I should have bought from one of our suppliers here on the board.... Learned my lesson... That was the last time that guy will ever see me!

spare parts are a must have when your protecting your rear end and the soreness you feel once you visit the local guys. I totally recommend keeping at least one bottle of KY around as well as a box of Corn Starch (southern boys understand this one) at all times to keep you safe and comfortable at all times..

There have been times when I have had more parts for my machines than the local distributors do. I have been short on something that I don't keep in stock, been in the store, and sold someone an unloader, because the distributor could not get it to them in time.
The distributor was Pissed!

I pulled ot a box of plugs today and all Richard could say was "oh my God" I had about 60, then I pulled out the box of QC sockets and he just laughed and said he was just gonna start buy his stuff from me.:clapping:
