25years ago I had my first home. and paid a high intrest rate. I think it was 8 or 9 precent (sold my home 5years ago)
Last year I brought my new home lower intrest rate plus $8,000 back. Say what you want when was the last time gov gave anyone $8,000. back

I am not saying I am for or against president obama but $8,ooo. that nice
 
Magic money. Where did that 8k come from?

Government got it from the top 1/3 income earners and corporations.

They got it from sales

Sales came from you.

You paid a fair price for the products plus 8k more to cover taxes so the corps could stay in business.

So the 8K came out of your own pocket.

Exactly what I was thinking Tony... That 8K you got back is your own money. You basically paid yourself and have to pay interest on it.
All that money comes from the stimulus packages which are paid by federal taxes and charged interest on the money that is loaned.
By the time we pay off the interest I will be dead and I'm not even 30. Magic money printed from nothing and charged interest... great business for the bankers the FED is not the federal government.

I teach my kids that free stuff makes people lazy. There is a fine line between being a hard working person and being a freeloader. What if you found a strange person giving your child free candy on a regular basis? That free money has already influenced your opinion of our president. Have you looked at your grocery bill yet? Cause mine feels just like it's being taxed more, but somehow the percentage is the same on the receipt. I wonder how they did that? Google "Money Masters" when you have about three hours to spare.

Thats true I remember when we went shopping with my parents when we were kids. We would have 2 full carts of food for $100.00, now I can carry out $100.00 worth of food in 4 small plastic bags. Who ever thought that milk would be more than gas per gallon, I dont know if we can come out of this mess.
 
What people didn't realize about the house rebate tax what that anyone who bought a house in 2008 and qualified for it has to repay it. 2009 and later do not. Also, you qualified for a "first time buyers" rebate if you had not owed a primary residence in about 5 yrs I think. My husband owned a house 8 yrs ago and we qualified when we bought our house in 2009.
