Paypal has a strict policy.....also.

They do not Tolerate complaints....if complaints are more than 1.5 percent they cancel your account.


By stuff with your Cards At X-mas...

Remember, six months and you get a refund automatic, all you have to do is tell them you where taken or the merchandise is Bad.
 
Ah, but refunds can also be reversed for good reason.
I sell and service Generac generators. A customer called and told me he bought one a month ago and it "won't hold a load". He brought it in (a refurb from Small Engine Warehouse), and I checked it out. I found water in the fuel...it wouldn't run. I cleaned the tank, line, and carb and got it running. Took it to a place with a load bank, and the 8,000 watt generator tested to 10,600. When he came to pick it up, he was informed that it wasn't a warranty repair, and if he wanted it back, he'd have to pay the repair bill. He flipped me his credit card and told me, "I'll get my money back from the credit card company."

About a month later, I get a letter from the CC company, charging back the repair bill. I wrote back to them and explained that this guy just wants someone else to pay for his screw up, that my charges were legitimate, and requested a reversal of the chargeback. They reinstated the original charge to his card. Now there's a pissed off pinhead who had to foot his own bill...

that being the case Russ I need to order some stuff!
 
It still looks horrible to the credit card processing company. If a single company were to get a bunch of chargebacks they would shut them down. Russ you gave the guy the service he paid to receive. Therefore they found in your favor. If you would have not delivered the product as promised then he would have gotten his money back. If the guy would have told me that I would have said, I'm sorry my credit card machine is down I will need cash to release your equipment. I can't stand guys like this. They think they can abuse something and get the manufacturer to foot the bill ha. You didn't even sell it to him. The Nerve.
 
This is very interesting!

So, if I bought a product, service or paid for a membership of some kind and something was wrong, misleading or I found out that I was lied to to get my money for the product, service or membership of some kind then I would legally be able to get my money back from that company by going through my credit card company for being misled or lied to?????

That is more great news Ron!

This one post is going to make a lot of people very happy this Christmas, kind of like a good Christmas present to them from you as you are helping them get money back if they bought a product, service or paid for a membership of some kind and were misled or lied to in some way.

But if you were brilliant enough to pay cash money at a RT you are still screwed!
