That is a great offer. I may take you up on that. I've been hearing about that show on the radio non stop. How much are the tickets? One of the guys that works with me may want to go also, I'll check with him tomorrow.

If it is a sales pitch I'm gonna take advatage of it.this place is gonna be crawling with other local businesses. I ordered more business cards to bring with me! Its gonna be the biggest meet and greet ever to hit this area¡!!!!
 
My wife went to one in Peoria IL. about 6 months ago through her job. She said it was well the time. But yeah they do talk about their books. Thats the reason the prices are so great.
 
Fortunatly the "entire office package" only cost $9.95 so its not like he will really lose anything.

One of the most posted complaints are about ticket price bait and switch - they offer $4.95 tickets, however it seems if you try to order one they are "sold out" of the lower price ticket and are happy to offer a higher $20.00 or higher ticket instead.


Pretty impressive line up of speakers, but they are going to try to sell you various books and business plan packages.
 
I wasn't knocking the price is the kind gesture of offering tickets.....I was simply saying that for 9.95, you don't have anything to lose. Getting to hear that group speak is worth every cent spent!

I would go if it was here. I just wouldn;t give my email address for fear of lots of SPAM. You will walk away with more than when you walked in for sure.
 
I agree it's money well spent. Powell, Ziglar and Rudy would be worth it. Don't consider it a scam just because they pitch their wares. Just don't buy if they don't interest you.
 
I went last year, and they will ask you to watch the show in the VIP room and they will give you lunch, just say no because they get you in the room and that is where they try to sell you the tapes and merchandise stuff.
 
I go to the one in Houston every year. The books and DVD's they sell, you can buy much cheaper on there web sitesor AMazon. I go as a "listener" and "observer" only. Ton's of valuable info you will get form these guy's. And, yes, Anthony, a great networking event. You can't take enough business cards with you. Approached the right way and these things are GREAT. Zig is by far the best. Don;t miss him.
 
If you google "get motivated scam" its an endless number of pages.but like one of ya said....don't buy into it. I'm gonna go and meet some cool people and that's enough for me. Besides my wife will be with me and she's the type of gal that'll tell em the stuff there sellin is crap lolol. So the offer is still standing if anyone in the south fl area wants to go save yourself a few bucks and call me I have extra tickets
