Yes, but you have to be careful and build a strong relationship with the owner. Report directly to the owner + the manager to show you are going the extra mile. Eventually the manager will come around if you give 110%.

At least that's my experience.

lotsa times we bypass the manager's as most are just front's and make no decision for the stores
