George Bush Must Go!

Letter From A Concerned Senior Citizen

To Whom It May Concern,

I am a senior citizen. During the Clinton Administration I had an extremely good and well paying job. I took numerous vacations and had several vacations homes.

Since President Bush took office, I have watched my entire life change for
the worse. I lost my job. I lost my two sons in that terrible Iraqi War. I lost my home. I lost my health insurance. As a matter of fact, I lost virtually everything and became homeless. Adding insult to injury, when the authorities found me living like an animal, instead of helping me, they arrested me. I will do anything to insure President Bush's defeat in the next election. I will do anything that Senator Kerry wants to insure that a Democrat is back in the White House come next year. Bush has to go. I just thought you and your listeners would like to know how one senior citizen views the Bush Administration.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

Sincerely,

Sadaam Hussein

That's Funny

Now think about it. Could this actually have happened to a real American Citizen ? The answer is yes.

1. Highest unemployment (EVER) since Bush took office.
2. Highest exodus of companies (EVER) closing and moving to Mexico or South America since Bush took office.
3. Worst economic factors (EVER) since Bush took office.
4. Most cutbacks on Domestic Policies (EVER) since Bush took office.
5. Worst (EVER) amount of United States Citizens without Hospitalization.
6. Least safest the United States has (EVER) been.
7. Bush is the leading President on taking vacations during his Presidency. 297 days in three and half years.

Is Kerry the answer ? Probably not. Its time to take it back.......

Hmm, seems like unemployment is 5.4% right now. It was not that long ago tha unemployment was 10 or 11 %, right during and immediately after Carter.
2. Highest exodus of companies (EVER) closing and moving to Mexico or South America since Bush took office.
And you think Kerry would stop this? This is the guy that actaully tried to push legislation through that would give special tax breaks that would benefit a very narrow profile of companies that had off shore operations. Why yes thank yo, Heinz was the biggest one that would benefit from it.
3. Worst economic factors (EVER) since Bush took office.
the economy must be really bad, since more people own homes now then ever, and more people are going back to their own businesses and are successful at it, and we have more milllionaires now then ever
4. Most cutbacks on Domestic Policies (EVER) since Bush took office.
You will need to define this one for me. Which domestic policies?
5. Worst (EVER) amount of United States Citizens without Hospitalization.
Actually that is not true. It is a liars figure. it is claimed that 44 million people have no insurance, but that is the number of people that have not had insurance for even one day in the psat year, includes, people like family members, and anyone that has gone without a job for even one day. Meaning, if you quit your job, did not take the COBRA plan, and went to a new job the next day, you are one of the 44 million. What is more is that many of the people that are included in this are people that have made the financial decision that it is cheaper and worth the risk for them to go without health care. Most of these people are the millionaires that can afford to cover the cost themselves.
6. Least safest the United States has (EVER) been.
This is true, due to Democratic cutbacks in espionage funding by the Carter administration, Many years of a democraticaly controlled congress that made an effort to defund the military, and reduce military size etc. There is a certain level of risk to living in the United States. In most neighborhoods though, it is still safe to walk our streets at night, and most people do not have much of a chance of getting robbed on the street. We also have not had any terrorist attacks on US soil since 9/11, and we are usually updated on whether or not there is a terrorist concern, unlike anytime previously .
7. Bush is the leading President on taking vacations during his Presidency. 297 days in three and half years.
I would love to see where this statistic came from. That sounds like someone sniping and saying just because he was at his home, that he was on vacation. I do not believe that.
Is Kerry the answer ? Probably not. Its time to take it back.......
1. Kerry has a record of missing 75% of the public meetings of one of his key committees. The one on that deals with security. Obviously, he is very concerend with our security.
2. Kerry has missed more votes than anyone in the US senate. His main claim to leadership. He also has a history of having the most liberal voting record in the senate. Edwards is number 4.
3. Kerry is an admitted war criminal.
4. Kerry is the richest person to EVER run for president. He has NEVER worked a physical days labor. The most physically intense job he ever had was as an assistant prosecutor in Massachusetts.
5. Kerry is not a man of commitment. He was married 18 years to one woman, and then after multiple children arranged to have the marriage annulled, so that he could marry the Rhodesian princess (she isn't really a princess) that he is currently married to.
6. Most of Kerry's education was at a boarding school in Switzerland. that means that he had no public education in the United States. The only private education he had was at Yale.
7. The only reason that Kerry spent his four months in Vietnam was because his USN reserve unit was called up.
8. He has been caught multiple times lying, and even recanted some of the statements he made, when confronted.
9. He has NEVER voted in favor of anything having to do with the National Defense. He has never voted in favor of any weapons, any increases in military, or anything else along those lines. Instead, he wants to turn our military over to the United Nations, and seek the approval of Foreign countries before we defend ourselves.

I do not see how a guy that is worth billions, that he did not earn himself can possibly be more in touch than a guy that has had multiple businesses, some successful, some not, that has had to scrap his way to success.
GWB may have a little money, but he earned most of it himself.

What ?

Scott, come on now.....

How I Spent My First Term in Office by: President George W. Bush

ELECTION/ADMIN

My brother arranged to have tens of thousands of minority voters illegally removed from the voter roles in Florida (the same was done in other states run by the Republican Party), assuring that tens of thousands of votes for my opponents were never cast or counted.

While a full re-count of votes was underway in Florida, I got the process short-circuited by my party's appointees in the Supreme Court, thus giving me the Presidency with less than 50% of the popular vote!

I am the all-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations.

In my first year in office I set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history (tough to beat my dad's, but I did).

I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Elections Monitoring Board.

I am the first president in US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors access during the 2002 US elections.

I set the record for most campaign fund raising trips by any president in US history.

I signed more laws and executive orders subverting the Constitution than any other US president in history.

I set the record for the fewest press conferences of any president, since the advent of TV.

I've made my presidency the most secretive and unaccountable of any in US history.

Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (The poorest multimillionaire, Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her).

I appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any president in US history.

I removed more checks and balances, and have the least amount of congressional oversight than any presidential administration in US history.

I have removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.

I changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.

I am the first US president to establish a secret shadow government.

I have created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States, called the "Bureau of Homeland Security."

DOMESTIC ISSUES BY BUSH

In my first three years in office over 3 million Americans lost their job. Another 5 million have given up looking for jobs.

I cut unemployment benefits for more out-of-work Americans than any other president in US history.

I set the all-time record for most real estate foreclosures in a 12-month period.

I set an economic record for the most personal bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period.

I spent the U.S. surplus giving tax breaks to the ultra-rich, and bankrupted the US Treasury.

I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the stock market.

I shattered the record for the biggest annual and total projected deficit in history (not easy after Ronald Reagan).

The biggest lifetime contributor to my campaign, who is also one of my best friends, presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron Corporation).

I presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed.

I am the first president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously struggle against bankruptcy.

I set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any other president in US history.

I entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down.

MILITARY ACCOMPLISHMENT

After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided over the worst security failure in US history (9/11)

I deliberately lied and distorted evidence about Weapons of Mass Destruction supposedly in Iraq, then halted the unsuccessful search by United Nations inspectors

I attacked and took over two different countries, killing hundreds of American soldiers and over 10,000 civilians

I am the first president in US history to order a US attack and military occupation of a sovereign nation that had not attacked us first (Iraq).

I refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions—justifying other nations who may violate them in the future, and endangering all future American POWs

I cut health care benefits for war veterans

FORIGN POLICY

I took the world's sympathy for the US after 9/11, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history).

I am the first US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability

I set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind

I broke more international treaties than any president in US history (not counting treaties with Native American nations).

I am the first president in US history to compel the United Nations to remove the US from the Human Rights Commission

I invaded and conquered Iraq against the will of the United Nations and the vast majority of the international community, and have never found the supposed thousands of Weapons of Mass Destruction I claimed Iraq had

I rendered the entire United Nations and the very concept of international law irrelevant, by showing that a powerful enough empire can simply ignore them

4 MORE YEARS, 4 MORE YEARS, 4 MORE YEARS.....

One call,
What got your anti - Bush campaign started again??? I and most everyone else have heard this same stuff a little over a month ago from you.I think the conversation took the same turn then.
Vote for Kerry or The Invisible Man if it makes you happy. Face facts what Scott says is pretty much how most amercians feel about Kerry.Kerry voted against fundstoprovide body armor to our troops.I see that as Kerry personally pullingthe trigger on every american soldier than has been wounded or killed.

Americans want Bush because he has a backbone and balls.Kerry just will not have the nuts to stand up to the world and protect the US and it's citizens.

I too could give a very long litany of reasons why 'One Call' has been brainwashed (if possible in his case), however it will suffice to say that I have never seen better times than you are now enjoying. I speak from more than small experience - I have been working since 1952, and without cessation since 1956. 'One Call' is apparently very, very young and has demonstrated he is easily led.

In respect to Kerry's efforts to burnish his war medals and heroics, this to me seems a cheap shot and he would have been better served to let someone else point out his record. I was in Vietnam in 1966 for a short time (even less than Kerry), but my permanent recollection is that there are few if any 'heros' as defined by the recent controversy; the American troops are for the most part scared kids, but honorable troops who are idealistic and want to do the right thing (Lt Caley was an exception) and they deserve our utmost respect and support; moreover our kids did not do the things of which Kerry accuses them. Consider this unreported fact - excogitate deeply - Kerry was in Vietnam on a small boat for 4 months. Hooray! From that very limited exposure he purported to know everything that was going on in the entire country and had witnessed all the atrocities about which he slammed our boys! Come on! He (supposedly) knew more in 4 months than I have learned in 38 years. He may not be a liar, but he certainly suffers from a common psychological quirk to which we are all subject - i.e. - if you tell yourself something often enough you will believe it as truth, even if it is a lie. Perhaps 'One Call' has the same malady.

That is the most I have written on Vietnam in 38 years, and I'll leave it there.

Richard

Is it not true ?

Come on now....Everyone knows that what Kerry testified to in the Senate Hearings was that of written confessions of Soilders that spent years in Vietnam. These were not Kerry's words.

Why are you distorting the facts ? Facts, get it. Read my post over again...those are facts.....Can you dispute those "FACTS" Get it...."FACTS"

There were not any soldiers who "spent years in Vietnam". 'Everyone' does not know that. Kerry would have been throttled if our then vets could have gotten their hands on his pencil neck. I know, I was there. Next time get the facts before you distort them. I have looked at the web site promoted by 'One Call'. These are misguided zealots with an agenda of froth and hate. Don't fall for them.

Richard

Got to love it.....

I love getting you guys/girls goin. Hell, gotta keep that blood pumping somehow. LOL

If only Kerry could keep his word. He is the one and only MR. Flip Flopper.

ITs to bad that John Edwards who could be a rising star will see his star Fade hanging with a guy who bad mouthed our Vietnam war Hero's by his ridiculous Slander towards them back in the 70's.

Kerry should have married that other millionaire Jane Fonda. They would have made the perfect "Anti American" couple.

You will need to scroll down to the bottom, but what it boils down to is that Florida agreed to stop a purge of Felons from voter roles. The reason they stopped is that for whatever reason, there were no Hispanic names included on the purged lists. Basic civics, Felons lose the right to vote. They should have never been on the voter roles to begin with, and were rightfully purged.

While a full re-count of votes was underway in Florida, I got the process short-circuited by my party's appointees in the Supreme Court, thus giving me the Presidency with less than 50% of the popular vote!
You need to go back and check your basic civics again. It is the Electoral College that votes, and not the popular vote. As a matter of fact, Gore was so worried about how many votes would be cast, until a few weeks before the election, he was running commercials reminding people that it was the electoral college that voted for the president, and the popular vote was really to elect the electors of the Electoral College.

I am the all-time US (and world) record holder for most corporate campaign donations.
No doubt or argument here. He was and is the leader in campaign contributions.
In my first year in office I set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history (tough to beat my dad's, but I did).
http://ask.yahoo.com/ask/20031001.html
Here you will see that he did not take any more vacation days than any other president. You also need to notice an important point, that a president always goes on a working vacation. Clinton probably stayed in town because he did not have a home to return to for his vacations. If he is doing government work, I personally do not see a problem if he leaves town, especially if Congress is not in session, and they are usually out of session in August, and other times throughout the year.

I am the first president in US history to have the United Nations remove the US from the Elections Monitoring Board.

I am the first president in US history to refuse United Nations election inspectors access during the 2002 US elections.

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/08/08/international.observers/
IN this article, you will note that observers are coming, and that the administration did not ban the observers. Congress did refuse funds for observers, but that is a different branch of government not under control of the President. By the way, it is the OCSE that is going to do the observing, not the UN. The UN refused because it has to be asked for by the Executive Administration. No one has ever asked for observers before in the history of the US.
I set the record for most campaign fund raising trips by any president in US history.
At least he did it legally.
Here is the senate record for Clinton and the DNC.
http://www.senate.gov/~gov_affairs/3.pdf (Sorry, I could not help myself)
Here is what Bush did for this election, and what Kerry did, and notice that Bush did not take any of our money to spend on the election, it is all from people that chose to give him donations.
http://www.opensecrets.org/presidential/index.asp
Now granted, Bush has raised only $15,000,000 more than Kerry, but, that is less than 10% of a difference. At this level it is negligible. Kerry on the other hand has had 87% of the 527 groups money backing him. Considering that George Soros himself has spent $67,000,000 on his attack ads on Bush, I would say that the funds are not only more than equal, but weigh heavily in Kerry’s favor. Interestingly, Kerry has been after Bush to disavow the swift boat Vets, which would be illegal, but he has made no effort on the DNC ad’s that attack Bush, or the Soro’s ads. It is also well known that people placed high on his campaign staff have helped to raise money for Move On, etc, in direct violation of campaign laws. But for Kerry, that is alright.
I signed more laws and executive orders subverting the Constitution than any other US president in history.
Here is a list of ALL of George Bush’s executive Orders for a total of 155 since he came into office.
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/orders/
Here are Bill Clintons Executive Orders, broken down by year.
http://www.archives.gov/federal_register/executive_orders/clinton.html/
For a total of 200 for his first term and 154 for his second term. On Clintons first term, he smoked Bush on Executive orders, and slowed down a bit on the second term. Laws have to be passed by Congress before the President can sign them, and no doubt that since Clinton was serving with a Republican congress, that they had many bills on the back burner for a Republican President to sign. I did not feel like researching that number.
I set the record for the fewest press conferences of any president, since the advent of TV.
Big Deal, he is not the most eloquent guy, and gets constantly bashed for being stupid. As if a Harvard MBA can be stupid. He knows it is not his strong suit, and so he lets the experts be experts.
I've made my presidency the most secretive and unaccountable of any in US history.
Better get documentation on this, because I don’t know how to prove or disprove it’s authenticity.
Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (The poorest multimillionaire, Condoleeza Rice, has a Chevron oil tanker named after her).
Highly possible, and even likely, but I would typically try to find successful people to help me run a large organization, and not some unemployed homeless guy. If you want to compare his administration to Kerry, then Kerry and his wife’s fortune would dwarf the net worth of all of Bush’s cabinet. For what it is worth, Rumsfeld is the richest in Bush’s cabnet at $106 million, on the high side, and Cheney is next at $45,000,000. Kerry has $1.2 billion that he married into, and $50 million of his own, and Edwards is worth around $75 million that he got the old fashioned way, by suing someone.
I appointed more convicted criminals to administration positions than any president in US history.
Document it, I have never seen this statistic.
I removed more checks and balances, and have the least amount of congressional oversight than any presidential administration in US history.
I don’t recall a constitutional convention, or any amendments to change this. Not possible.
I have removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in US history.
So what freedoms are we missing, again we have the patriot act, but really, we are free as ever.
I changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
If foreign companies can have federal contracts, why can’t a convicted Felon? If they have served their time, the only thing they should lose are those tings outlined in the Constitution. If anything this would be leveling the playing field.
I am the first US president to establish a secret shadow government.
Let me get this, people are hijacking planes and running them into buildings. For all he knows he is the next target. So a remote command center, where the VP hangs out is established in an undisclosed location, in order to keep the US running in case of an attack on the White House, and this is bad? I hate to disappoint you, but there are actually multiple locations that would have these qualifications. One is in Colorado at NORAD and one is in Virginia , under the Berkshire Resort. (I think that is what it is called.)
I have created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States, called the "Bureau of Homeland Security."
And reduced multiple other departments that now fall under the over site and gave the security departments for the US a cabinet level position. These would include the FBI, which was taken from Justice, The INS, which was taken from the interior, and the CIA, which was taken from Defense. Actually there was only a net gain due to the additional people that were hired to secure the US.

I go this chart from the above website. Sorry if it did not all come out on the website. If you will notice, there are still more people employed after Clinton left office, than before he left. Remember that he left in January of 2001. Some reporting adjustments had to be made, and Bush had to deal with job losses after 9/11, which no one would have been able to predict.
DOMESTIC ISSUES BY BUSH

In my first three years in office over 3 million Americans lost their job. Another 5 million have given up looking for jobs.

I cut unemployment benefits for more out-of-work Americans than any other president in US history.
See the above chart, Basically a fallacious argument.
I set the all-time record for most real estate foreclosures in a 12-month period.
I could not find any records for Foreclosures, but I did find a record for homeownership, which in 2001 third quarter, was at a record high. 68.1% It would seem odd that Fore closures would be at a record high when Homeownership was at a record high. That just does not make sense.
http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/fhahistory.cfm
I set an economic record for the most personal bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period.
I could find nothing to support this argument, or deny it.
I spent the U.S. surplus giving tax breaks to the ultra-rich, and bankrupted the US Treasury.
Those surpluses belong to you and me. I know my taxes went down, and I would hardly consider myself rich, unless it is according to the democrat description of rich, then I more than qualify, since I make more than $50,000 a year.
I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the stock market.
Your right it drop precipitously after 9/11, but it dropped from record highs, and is rebounding nicely, thank you. It actually had a higher percentage drop in 87, and 89
I shattered the record for the biggest annual and total projected deficit in history (not easy after Ronald Reagan).
It is wartime, and curiously, everything is coming in under budget. This would include, reparations, and deaths.
The biggest lifetime contributor to my campaign, who is also one of my best friends, presided over one of the largest corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron Corporation).
He was also one of the biggest movers and shakers in Texas, President Bush’s home state. AS Governor he would have been stupid to not know him well while he was Governor, especially since no one realized the Ponzi scheme that he was running.
I presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed.
California got themselves into that crisis with the great idea of deregulation. If they would have immediately started regulating again, as soon as they realized it was a mistake, most of the crisis would have been averted. I am in the state adjacent to California, and we had no problem, and I bet you didn’t either.
I am the first president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously struggle against bankruptcy.
It actually started during the Clinton years. Now we are all recovering. A lot of it had to do with the economic downturn that accompanied the WTC disaster
I set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any other president in US history.
I would like to see what this would be adjusted for inflation. I would bet that FDR had a real dollar increase.
I entered office with the strongest economy in US history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down.
See above.
RY ACCOMPLISHMENT

After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided over the worst security failure in US history (9/11)
And this would have been averted how, by him not having a WORKING vacation in Texas?
I deliberately lied and distorted evidence about Weapons of Mass Destruction supposedly in Iraq, then halted the unsuccessful search by United Nations inspectors
If he did, so did Clinton, Kerry, and the entire US congress. Oh and so did the Kurds that were gassed 10 years earlier, and so did Hussein when he lost the First Gulf War.

I attacked and took over two different countries, killing hundreds of American soldiers and over 10,000 civilians
That is right, I would rather have thousands die on our home turf, then have to go somewhere else and fight them on their own turf. If we had not retaliated for their attack, rest assured, we would have been fighting them here.
I am the first president in US history to order a US attack and military occupation of a sovereign nation that had not attacked us first (Iraq).
No, they did not attack us directly, but they did aid and abet the training of the people that did attack us. They also had close ties to Osama Bin Laden.
I refused to allow inspectors access to US prisoners of war and by default no longer abide by the Geneva Conventions—justifying other nations who may violate them in the future, and endangering all future American POWs
If you had not noticed, every nation except us has not adhered to the Geneva Convention. That does not justify this, but part of the problem is that the prisoners that we are holding that access was not allowed to had no allegiance to a country, but to a terrorist organization. Allowing access would have been tantamount to recognizing a terrorist group as a political entity. FWIW, they were allowed access to the Iraqi prisoners.
I cut health care benefits for war veterans
And curiously, this is at a time when the numbers of veterans are declining. Personally, I think that they should get everything coming to them, but if there are fewer people demanding service, then there should be proportionally fewer dollars spent on service.
FORIGN POLICY

I took the world's sympathy for the US after 9/11, and in less than a year made the US the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in US and world history).
They sure do all hate the US, and have for years. They also all want to come here, for our freedoms and privileges. It is amazing how that works.
I am the first US president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability
I want to see the question that was asked, before I comment on this.

I set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind
It is amazing what kind of hate a well run organization can foment.
I broke more international treaties than any president in US history (not counting treaties with Native American nations).
Please substantiate this.
I am the first president in US history to compel the United Nations to remove the US from the Human Rights Commission
Probably because the country put in charge of the commission was noted for having human rights violations. Basically, rendering it useless.
I invaded and conquered Iraq against the will of the United Nations and the vast majority of the international community, and have never found the supposed thousands of Weapons of Mass Destruction I claimed Iraq had
See the above. Hussein had them and used them against his own people, and had even reported that he had them. That could be part of the reason that Bush believed that he had them.

I rendered the entire United Nations and the very concept of international law irrelevant, by showing that a powerful enough empire can simply ignore them
And the problem with this is???
