Very nice board, hope the startup goes smoothly for you!
Just a thought. would a seperate area for discussing business philosophy, accounting, home office management, legal and liability, insurance and stuff like that be useful?
Kinda like the marketing forum, but for all things related to running day to day operations.
"Business 101", "Business for Dummies", "General Business Practices"
Could also cover these areas:
-Environmental issues. (possibly a section for article reprints)
-Juggling home/office work from the same house.
-time management work vs. personal
-paperwork and forms
-handling employees
-employer's rights/responsibilities
This would be a great area for new people to get info from the "old pro's" on how to properly start and run a business. Who knows, it might even bring some of us to a new level of professionalism by exposing us to things we haven't though of before, or just didn't know we needed to know.
Again, just a thought.....
