I did a job today. I don't often work on Saturday anymore, but my week fell apart on, oh, Monday, and so I had a small job to do today. I was just doing it by myself, so no big deal.
So, I go to do this small job, paint prepping a 1300 foot fence. It took me 3 hours. Remember, this is Arizona, so little mildew, except where bushes hung over, and a lot of dust. I had previously agreed that the price would be $300, cash. No checks, no credit, Cash only.
After I finished up the job, I went to talk to the acquaintance that was going to pay me, and of course, to collect my money. He comes out with $200. Say It was $200, right?"
"Uhm, no, $300"
His immediate comment, "Wow, you make good money."
Mine, "Yes I do. Why do you say that?"
"Because you are not afraid to ask for all your money..."
