Friends???

Folks we meet in the forums on a day to day basis I classify as colleagues.
Usually after we meet face to face and talk, I more often than not do consider them friends. After that, there are varying degrees of friendship. I have personally developed a number of friendships through the forums that I feel will last even if we left the profession.

Though I have never met many here and at other sites, I do consider many to be my friends.

I am SURE if I lived closer to many people we would be really good friends.

I consider some here to be friends, some not so much.

My Dad said when I was a kid, that you can never have too many friends. And that nobody needs enemies. I tend to give friendship freely, but don't try to push it on people.

I even know some people that don't think much of me, that I consider friends, I don't let other people control how I feel, even about them.

I will say that I only really know one facet of many people here, but I consider some to be friends.

Generally I'm dog loyal to my friends. I knew most of my friends better in the first few encounters than I'll ever know many aquaintences, even if I like them. If I like a person, I generally love them, if I love a person, I generally adore them. My friendship is easy to get, but not cheap. I've been blessed in this way: I have better friends than I ever could have deserved. Therefore to me, they are a gift of Grace. Unearned, undeserved, yet there by no accident. Those are my friends.

I think the BBS's are a useful tool, and I greatly enjoy getting to know folks here. I feel friendly towards almost everybody here, and don't waste my hate on anybody here. When I travel, I call everybody I can, so I can meet them in person, to put a face, voice, and impression to the posts. That's just how I am with friends. (If you live near a place I've been recently, and didn't get a call, don't think I have bad feelings towards you. More likely, I just mismanaged my time to call, and didn't get it done!)

Man, I gotta go watch a hockey game or something, maybe clean my guns...How much more touchy-feelie can a post get?:rolleyes: ;)
 
There are quite a few on here and there and there that I consider my friends. I've talked to a lot of you guys on the phone and some have even had the pleasure of meeting me :D

Some guys have helped me and my business out so much that I can prolly never repay them and I got their back if they ever need me in anything (as long as it's moral and ethical and lawful)

BBS's are a great place to hang out and chat with people of like interests...
 
Friends, Are you crazy you pressure washing guys are almost as bad as painters, LOL. I like everybody as a friend unless they show me otherwise. Like these BB's are a great please to learn,relax and meet some very helpful people and most are friendly. Great group of people & professionals here
