DO YOU NEED YOUR HOUSE, DRIVEWAY, PATIO, POOL DECK OR OTHER PRESSURE WASHED? I WILL PRESURE WASH WHATEVER YOU NEED AND GET IT LOOKING LIKE NEW AGAIN FOR THE LOW RATE OF $10 AN HOUR.

IN RETURN YOU WILL GET SOMEONE WHO IS HARD WORKING, DEPENDABLE, HONEST & RESPONSIBLE.

I AM COLLEGE EDUCATED WITH 2 DEGREES.

Just goes to show, a college education isn't worth what it used to be.

I can't imagine why someone providing a service would limit themselves to working by the hour. No matter how hard he works, no matter how many jobs he finishes in a day, no matter how good of equipment he ever bought, he will never be capable of grossing more than $80 in an 8 hour day. And $10 an hour may sound good to a customer, but something tells me it may take him a couple days to do a job that might take one of us a couple hours. And they would also have to take into account that he's obviously not insured.

However, if he is as hard working, dependable, honest, and reliable as he says he is, and he would love to be washing houses all day for $10 an hour, he sounds like the ideal employee. Maybe I should give him a call? Lol that way he could wash houses all day for $10 an hour and not even have to sell jobs. Heck, maybe I could even get him to cover the cost of chemicals and gas, and not pay him for travel time between jobs. Like I said, he wouldn't have to sell jobs, or pay to repair equipment, so he would still be better off. I wonder how long it would take before he realized washing houses for $10 an hour is not worthwhile?

I wont post our ads of craigslist anymore, at first we did but after seeing things such as this on there it began to put off a bad rep for companies that post there, at least for Las Vegas. This is just my opinion. If this person does get a jobs he will eventually run out of money and energy, very quickly.

Over 20 years ago (back when I was a geek) I did computer work (repairs, programming, networking, new & used sales, upgrades) almost anything you can think of for the home user and small business.

I had a great little word of mouth deal going on, when I started to notice little road signs at intersections near my house. "Computer Repairs - Cheap" and a phone number. Well, I've never really been good at marketing, so I never tried anything like that. Within a few months I started to notice my calls were dropping off and couldn't explain it. After some investigating, I learned that there had been a lot of these so called "computer technicians" screwing up peoples computers because they really didn't know what they were doing... HACKS.

Well, my business suffered tremendously from these "hacks" efforts. I found out most of my business had switched to an IBM firm or started taking their computers to Best Buy (which was fairly new back then) as a result of the bad word of mouth going around. Needless to say I had to find a new avenue to take if I were to survive (which I did).

Now back to the "hacks"... these non specific, fly by night pressure washing people that also clean toilets, paint dog houses, dig ditches and whatever else they can offer really do damage to a small company like mine. As with my computer days, I was trained in very specific areas and was damn good at what I did. While I may not be as experienced as a lot guys (and gals) here, I take the same approach to learning and understanding the proper way to get any specific job done.

The hacks are out there and they are a menace to my success (again), but there's not much I can do about it. I commend anyone trying to earn their own keep, but these hacks still hurt my efforts in the long run.
