Foam?

All Wet

Maybe you guys can answer this for me. I have a couple of small fleets I wash, and I was wondering about foaming agents and foam lances. I figure foam would help with dwell time and less drying on the surface. Any recommendations?

I know Scott & Mike would want to know what your using? Acid or Caustic.

The second thing are you brushing or two stepping?

They may give you both recomendations. I'll bet Mike if he doesnt use it he has played with it.

Scott to my knowledge does not foam vehicles. ( i've been wrong before)

I have only seen trucks foamed on wash pads. all the drive thru washes now foam and rinse with no brush. Mike H owns a few so he knows about that.

UPS is using these at some locations, keep in mind its daily washing.

I agree, indoors is fine but outdoors there are too many elements to contend with like the wind and sun. Plus the rinsing is a little more difficult not to mention the recollection and compliance with discharge requirements. (they don't like to see bubbles on the ground)
