When cleaning concrete (new construction) do you use chemicals, high
pressure. In your areas, what are you removing from the concrete. In
my area we have a problem with clay dust. Also, if you charge by the
square foot, what do you charge? We get anywhere from 10 to 15 cents.
Any comments or suggestion would be appreciated.

Doug, We use our own brand of concrete cleaner (RPC 2000). When you shower you always use soap, I feel the same about concrete with dirt. The problem with new conctruction is most of the time they pour the concrete and then grade the yard. The dirt gets ground into the concrete and then cures into it then it will not come out because it is part of the concrete. If you can talk the contractor into letting you seal it with a cure & seal (25% solids) the next day after it is poured this will stop the problem. Of coarse this is for white concrete. The aggregate concrete needs to cure 30 days before sealing due to the fact aggregate sealer is a different product (30% solids). We average 10 cents a square foot to clean and an extra 20 cents per square foot to seal with one coat.

Ok big Question... Oil Spots on Blacktop.. How Do you Get them Out or make them lighter .. ??Surface Cleaner will leave marks and so will my nozzle >> Someone suggested Caustic but I have done this before and it sucked the petro out of the asphalt and turned it a light grey color..
