Chris, I contacted Phil to inform him of your post.
I feel he will not be responding for this reason, Phil is hired as expert witness and this could become a conflict if he where to state any opinions since he has probably not seen the scene or had the factual investigative information.
Phil instructs a fire investigation class, I would imagine one of the rules would be never to give a public opinion with out the facts.
