Finding Pipe

I recently purchased a van from a pressure washing company that went out of business. They installed the machine inside of the van and vented everything properly...
However, when they vented the exaust pipe for the washers engine they used a piece of semi flexible steel conduit. After running the machine for awhile this 1" i.d. exaust piping has now broken. I have been going crazy trying to find some 1" flexible exaust tubing. Do you know where I can find this type of pipe...or do you know of a better way to vent the exaust through the floorboard of the van so that the pipe will not crack from vibrations in the future....???????? PLease help.....

Hi Jared,

Thought of something else after i talked to you. Ever see auto mechanic garages that have flexible hoses that can close their doors and run the car exhaust through a hole in the garage door?

Maybe stop at one of these garages and see if they have a supplier for whatever that flex pipe is.

Glad you could make it to the board. Lots of good people & info here.

THANKS FOR THE IDEAS...i THINK I AM JUST GOING TO WELD UP SOME BLACK PIPE AND HARD PIPE IT IN....I HVE TRIED JUST ABOUT EVERY EXAUST AND AUTOMOTIVE SHOP AROUND HERE. THANKS AGAIN.

They use the same pipe on air compressors.
Also 1 inch flex conduit will work. Any commercial electrical supply has it.

Pep Boys has it for sure.

Tell your helpers not to throw a bag of towels on it like mine did.

Pep Boys Has the pipes

I was just there a couple of days ago to buy wipers for my truck and I saw the flex pipe among other piping that they sell there.

I am in the process of setting up a couple of PW's in a Van and thats where I will be purchasing the pipe needed to vent out the exhaust of these PW's.

clean county

when you go to use that flex pipe do yourself a favor bend it the way you need it first then when your at pep boys get a can of high temp motor paint [spray] then spray the inside of the pipe
it will make it run a little cooler and double the life of it it rusts from the inside out.
i also do this on my harley pipes and keeps the chrome from turning blue.
