I got high speed connection. Cox had to run a Ariel wire but now I have high speed. Only after 2 months.


If you have the means I recommend highly, I sure I will enjoy using this since I’ve been in the stone ages for about three years.
 
Ron, I have had DSL for almost two years now and yesterday my dsl modem gave out. So until I get to the "puter" store and get a new dsl modem I am back to using dial up at 56k. I never realized how slow that really is until now! Do you remember the 9600 and 14.4 modems? Its a wonder people stayed online at those speeds!
 
Excuse me, but someof us think that the Stone Age is not all that bad.

We have had a cable connection for several months now. Has been down for a few weeks. Found out yesterday that the cable company did not gound the cable coming into our building!!

Lost the modem and a card in my cpu! :( Good thing we still had the dial up connection.

Back online now with the cable, working great!:)

DARN CABLE GUY ( cable contractor for many years) ask for discounts, they want your business, they will cut your cost for months... Try it, It will work...Dave and Ron you were put out, You should be compesated for the problems you have had...

Ron, Just out of curiousity did the company that hooked you called Allied Communications?

Hello Matt,

They replaced the modem and put in a new card. They will be rewiring our whole system next week!

We have had cable for our TV for over 25 years and never had a problem. Oh well!:) Just glad we did not have more damage.
