Here is the video of Col Joe Kittinger who rode a ballon to 102,800 feet in 1960 ... then JUMPED out and freefell 14 minutes to earth.
He still holds the record for the highest free fall jump and the only man to ever beak the sound barrier with out an aircraft.
He also did 3 tours in Vietnam and was shot down and captured doing a year as a POW with John Mcain before his release.
