extend wand trouble

The top part of my ex. wand went down inside the outter tubing. The hose and tip came apart from the tube. Is there a way I can get that tube out?

How bad is it? Try sticking a fat peice of hose inside and then something inside of the hose to wedge it in the pipe. Then pull real hard and keep your head away from your hands at the same time just incase it slips!
