im wondering if there is a school for exhaust/hood cleaning in new york and also what types of certifications and licenses are required.:confused:

School in Kentucky

Well it's not in New York, but Phil Ackland has a school in Louisville, Kentucky! You have a choice of a 5-day school (for anyone) or a 2-day school (for experienced cleaners only) - or if you would rather not travel and would like to study from home, we have a distance certification kit available.

i am kinda confused about Phil's affiliation with delco if all goes well i will be attending in the fall/winter'09-'10. with delco i get the pwna membership + phil's PAC. THE BETTER BARGAIN IS WITH DELCO RIGHT(except the trip to texas)?

If you are doing work in New York city you have to take and pass thier exam and display your licence # on your tags and you will need 2 diffrent colored tags for accessable and inaccesable systems.

NY, Boston And Mass Tests

It is my understanding that the Phil Ackland Training LLC school in Fort Worth teaches the required information that you need to know to take these tests. That is not to say that they know what the test questions are but they do know the subject matter and make a point of covering it. (You still have to supply some intelligence)

Now the best people to ask would be PAT.
