Eviro Awareness!!!

Actually, Danny's question would be the first I would ask.
1. What are your local BMP's?
2. How many AHJ's (Authorities having jurisdiction) do you have in your service area?
3. What type of waste water treatment is the generally acceptable for disposal into the sanitary sewer?
4. Where do you get a permit for sanitary sewer disposal?
5. What is the difference between a closed loop and open loop system?

6. What are your standard protocols for handling waste water?
7. How do you train your employees in waste water recovery, and treatment?
8 Do you have a company level certification program? (This means, do you certify your employees to your company standards)

Dont use old tube socks to direct water !

I'm getting blood shot trying to find out the BMPs in my area (Ames, Ankeny and Des Moines Iowa). Ron, or others, any tips for me on getting straight answers?

From what I can tell Ames has some sort of permitted pre-treatment program to dump waste water into sanitary sewer, but it looks written for non-mobile factory type stuff. Greater Des Moines Metro may be stricter but have metro wide protocol with some Des Moines Wastewater Reclamation Authority.

Take it over to Wallmart and dump it down there inlets. LOL
