Everyone along the east coast!!! Stay safe!

We here in Florida have been spared by Hurricane Irene but most are not going to be as fortunate. Irene is headed directly up the East Coast of the US and the impact of this storm has the potential of being one of the worst in history.

Prayers go out to all the contractors, their families and everyone in Irene's path. Stay safe!!! This storm is NO JOKE!!!!

Hope all come out well, these deals are an unpredictable animal for sure. Went through a badd a-- cat 4, had 20minutes warning, they thought it would go far north of where I lived but it made 2 right turns in 80 miles and plowed through us.

Very cool. Good talking to you today. Still trying to convince the wife to head up to Saint Augustine for the weekend. If we do go we will be up there tomorrow night. I will call you.

Get the video up. We wanna see it.

It could get interesting around here. They're saying it could pass right over us as a cat 2 or 3. Isabelle in '03 was barely a hurricane when it passed, and what a mess that was.

On the macabre, positive side, all that debris flying around tends to stick to the houses still standing. After Isabelle, I was busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger!

If I has hatches, I'd be battening them down.

This is a huge I never have seen anything like this just posted some pictures up

IF you need anything Guy just let me know, not sure where the latest track is but if you need to haul anything out let me know I can come pick up a trailer or something to move my way west of Raleigh

Look's like Hurricane Gloria all over again for LI, We lost power for 8 days when that one came thru in 1985. We were young and the whole neighborhood came together, we had to cook all the food before it went bad so it was an 8 day block party. Thats when that whole block became real tight and we all bonded and remained great friends to this day.

No power here in Williamsburg Va. I hope John Orr is doing ok in Chesapeake. They got it bad. I hope my power comes back quick.

No power here in Massachusetts but I have the generator humming along and keeping the house lit.

We did good in South Jersey. My Mom lives in the house I grew up in. she lives on a lagoon that over flows often (3 times in last 15 years) - this storm did not even get over the bulkhead. We got really lucky, I'm going to ride over to the beach in a little while to see how that looks (I'm sure its smaller).

We did ok in my area as far as my house is concerned. No power loss at all for me an no flooding at all. I cannot say the same for the low lying areas in our neck of the woods. Many without power and flooding pretty bad. My brother in law got 9 foot of water in his neighborhood, really bad there. Still windy but the rain has passed.
