Envirospec offers an electric pressure washer for $699.99. Model #TRXB
115 Volt is a real plus. Has anyone tried it yet? I always buy mine from Northern,( North Star).
Main problem with North Stars is the chemical injector goes bad and getting the correct parts to repair it is a joke. Sometimes it saves time and aggravation to just buy a new pump which costs close to the cost of the machine. Anyway, does anyone have any experiences with this machine from envirospec?

Thier specific TRX I have not used. I had a TRX that we flat out abused for a week less than 2 years and it performed flawlessly. It had the AR pump on it rather than the general pump and the rods finally let go. I have to say the machine was well made durable and very portable.
I would suggest getting th same machine for 399 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120286441834&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:VRI
and buying a hot kit for 43.00. I did and it lasted 2 years .
Little guy paid for itself in 3 jobs so it was well worth it

Ours is the AR version and is available with the hot kit. If you are running hot water or leave it in bypass for any length of time definitely get the hot kit version.

OMG AR pumps... ( Buy a General or a Cat ) I cant believe an AR pump would last at all... I had one on a electric alkota machine and it lasted every bit of 2 months..If you want to use electric , we used to do a hospitol where we didnt have enough hose to use the big machine so we would buy the cheapest elec PW we could find and if it burnt up after 1 use we still made our money out of it.. ( 1000 @ 2 ) FREDS $59.00 Lasted 6 hours running hot water thru it ... Made $1140.00 on the Job...

Another option, in the future John, would be to rent the extra PW hose that is needed for the job. Check with Sunbelt Rentals, if you have one in your area.
