Elbows for Surface Cleaner 1/4"

I am looking for 1/4" pipe thread-sized elbows for the spray tips on my surface cleaner. I don't know the sizes the different brands use, I am replacing mosmatic metric straight threaded bars which are about the size of 1/4", and snap right at the thread. Or some other fitting that would work, I would drill and tap a part to make it work. The stainless steel supply here had one of these long end caps that looked like a socket, I'm trying to find more.

Can you get a pic so I can see what you're wanting?

tom go to a machinr shop have them weld a colar over the broken part and have it threaded to whatever size you want. but make sure you get 2 of them to balance out the spray bar. or just buy a new spraybar

I'm getting rid of the mosmatic bars that keep breaking and drilling out the hub in the middle for 1/4" pipe.

This is the end cap, I would have to tap it for an 1/8" nozzle. Maybe I'll just get bar stock and machine the whole thing myself.

I was going to tap a hole in the side for the nozzle. It's a cap by the way, not a coupler, its just long for some reason which is why there's room for the nozzle. If my surface cleaner was taller the regular pipe elbows would fit, maybe the next one.

Hey Tom here is the picture of what we talked about on the phone. That elbow is for an 1/8" tip. Send me that email of that reclaiming truck you were telling me.

Flare fit - very impressive. Does it attach the same way in the center? That looks great, without the threads there isn't a weak spot, if it's welded you scrap the whole thing if a bar breaks or bends. Still looking for that rig, I'll ask Nigel he can find anything. It's all enclosed, I think it was out of Florida and it claimed to wash a whole garage with like 200 gallons of water. Also I think it had a side by side double surface cleaner that was 5 ft.

Try again

Tom, you may want to try the Mosmatic spray bars again. Over two years ago they switched their bars to welded ends. No more untwisting. I have not had trouble with their bars for a very long time. Let me know if I can assist.

Thanks Tracy, are those bars the small ones about the size of 1/4" pipe? They seemed ok strong enough but they would get a bend in them. Since I have a bunch of mosmatic hubs and 1/4" stainless I think I'll just weld some bars on and see how they do. The 1/4" is a bit stouter than the M21 or whatever it came with.

Well, I use 4 bars but I may drill a cross to screw onto the 3/8" swivel. My surface cleaner should be a little taller to fit an elbow on the bars.
