Putting my unit into an enclosed trailer and need to duct the burner exhaust. I have seen the rectangle ducts that mold into a round 10 or 12" chute. that fasten to the burener housing. Who sells these? I have an Alkota unit. the large horz. burner. Justin, If you see this I lost your #!

Easy one...

Find a company in your area that builds duct work for Air Conditioning companies (Yellow Pages or call an A/C company) and they can pop one our for you in no time. Just do not vent it through he roof or side of the truck. A simple 90-degree deflector will suffice.

John,

For what reason would you recommend not to vent through the roof or side? If done properly, wouldn't that be the way to go? Let me stress "properly"....

Why...

...would you cut a hole in the roof of your vehicle if you didn't need to? Venting the way I mentioned is quite sufficeint. In freezing weather you are leaving the coil exposed to freezing.

Machines need to be set up close to a door anyway just so they can get enough fresh air for both the engine and burner so why not vent out the same door.

Go to Lowes/Home Depot, local hardware store and look around you will find everything you need.
You could go through the roof no problem, as long as you put in a vent for incoming air to feed your equipment.
You should be able to exhaust through the same port you cut out to vent burner exhaust.Go to auto parts store and tell them you want a flexible exhaust pipe or you can fix her so shes rigid with regular exhaust pipe. It works fine.I've done it myself and have observed many others doing the same.
Its nice to have a enclosed unit to keep out the elements and the unwanteds.
You could set it up so you can pop the exhaust port on when working then pull er off when ya want to roll.

Will someone post a pic or 2 of there set up so Barry can get an idea of what I'm talking about? Thank you. Goat.

My Buddy has the same machine as mine.. We both went to a sheet metal shop and had the stainless turbo built for about $ 75.00.... His unit is in s enclosed trailer he just opens the doors and the heat blows out ... take a look.
