Does PWI need a new logo?

Should the PWI logo be redone?

Some want a new logo for the site. I personally don't see anything wrong with the one we have had for years now.

What do you think?
 
I have offered a draft of a new one. Why not give ideas to adam and let him present one before the idea is shut down. Maybe a fresh look and maybe some banners for moderators. also how a bout a directory with the Money going to a charity of the BBS choice with the a co-op link to the charitys site.

why stay old and not change the look. PWN and the cleaner network look the same. The only thing I think should stay is the colors blue. I believe that others would take this color if we left it.

Adam, Mike Like the proffessor, i like him too i just wish that we could see the improving the industry more clearly.

I also think that we should Join the Round table thing since it was started here on PWI.
 
I agree with the blue. And the banner idea is a good one. Anyone else care to add something?
 
I like the old one but change is also good. I would atleast like to see some of the new ideas before everyone say not to change.

same is good

i took several graphic, sales, and marketing coarses. something that was often repeated, pick a logo and stick to it. it's part of your identity and people know who it is when they see it. btw, i like the old logo
 
That is called "branding" which is very important in sales, and once you have a logo or brand you should keep it or make only slight changes to it so that it remains constant in the mind of the consumer. We really don't have consumers that need to identify this board by its brand. Actually several people that I talk to actually refer to this board as the "blue" board based on the backround color! So when Ron said we should keep the blue, I agree 100%. The logo, as much as I like it could be altered slightly or stay the same without any detrimental side effects.
