Kory just curious how come K&J doesnt come up on the map listing? Doesn't that help the SEO also?
 
I use them. My normal site wasn't anywhere to be found in Des Moines so they built me another one www.desmoinespressurewashing.com Within about 2 days I was top three on almost all of what I thought were the important search terms. I think this is partly cause they know what they are doing and partly cause my market wasn't very hard to crack. FYI I'm really glad they gave me an exclusive phone number to display on the site to track call ins. Honestly its showed me that its probably not worth the money I pay to focus on web searches (not very many calls are coming in). So, in sum they are good at what they do but that may or may not be worth it in your market.

Did you know they only target 1 search term? They SEO only your local Market.

When talking to the salesman, he asked me "Don't you want to be on the 1st page?" I told him that I was in several different search terms. He said that I wasn't, which got me to thinking. Called a couple of Friends from out of state and had them google relevant search terms in my local area....Guess what, I was either 1st first page, or first page 2nd or 3rd listing. So he's a liar. And I can't abide liars of any kind. If he lied about my ranking then everything else that came out of his mouth was a lie too.

Cost is $145 per month no contract. Automatic ACH withdraw on your account each month.

I won't be using this company.
 
Wow that is expensive for one search term.

On another note you all should be shooting for #1 spots because that spot typically gets 40-60% of the clicks.

This is something that pops up occasionally, but that is not the norm. Most places, web presence is great for marketing but on occasion there are people in some areas that still require the use of traditional marketing.
 
When I go to google looking for a business the first I see is the paid listing then the map listing. I usually check in the map area first for a business and many times do not even look at the ones below that area. So if there are others that search the way I do then it would seem important to have your business in this area. I just wish I could get my business to come up in the map area in nearby cities.
