Do you use newsletters or special reports?

Curious to know if anybody uses information to sell as opposed to hard sales/hard marketing?
 
Yeah? I have E-mail addresses and I'm working on developing ways to implement new marketing tactics, and to be honest... All I've ever known was hard selling/hard marketing.

I want to soften up on a few particular sub-niches and I KNOW that information would be the way to sell, but setting it up has been a pain...

How do you like get response?
