Delta 60

Has Anyone used the Delta 60 concrete cleaner from Delco? Does it work? Do you cut it down or run it straight

Has anyone used this yet? I want to try some out, but it's expensive enough to want some feedback first.

I hope it is different from the DR60 that I bought some years ago, it did not work that good.

It might be a good product, I wonder if they have samples. I need to call and see.

What problems did you have with it, Chris? If it is the DR60, my Aluma Bright HD works just as well for half the cost. Same components (sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid [although they call their ingredient hydrogen fluoride])

It was described as a concrete cleaner that (if I remember correctly was a good degreaser, not brightener) but I just did not have any good results with it.

Maybe it was a concrete brightener but I thought it was a degreaser. The picture it showed had a oily-parking spot for the before and the after had a clean parking spot so I thought it was a good, strong degreaser.

Maybe I was wrong and mis-applied it? Not sure now.

Maybe you guys are talking about a different product? They advertise it as penetrating oil. Here's a quote from their description:
"Delta 60 has newly developed wetting agents that allow it to penetrate oil stained concrete like we’ve never experienced. It doesn’t make oils water soluble like degreasers, so when pressure washed, the oils come out as solids leaving the concrete as clean as possible. 'Old concrete yields the best results,' says Foate. That’s because it becomes dense as it ages."

It is not a degreaser. It is designed to remove stains and shadows. Degreasing is the first step, followed by application of the 60 on a dry surface.

Thanks Russ, I did not remember seeing that info when I ordered it so it was my fault for not understanding the purpose for the product.

I still have some, it is a few years old and probably is still good, I will give it a try. PM me your info please, thanks.

Ok, it was my fault thanks to Russ's info on the Delco DR60 product, no problem here, just did not understand the use. Sorry Delco for the misunderstanding.

If you read the thread, Russ and I were talking about a different product that I had tried years ago that I did not understand the use of it.

This new product could be very good, I will be ordering some to give it a try and see how it does.
