Deer ran into my rig

So saturday morning, instead of going hunting for deer on opening day, I was heading out to do some truck washing in Spokane WA. I was going about 50 mph on the highway when I saw a deer coming across the road out of the corner of my eye. I swerved to try not to hit her and wammo, right into the side of my truck. I turned around to see if she was in the road, and she was gone. It was still dark. So after looking over the truck, there is two dents on pas. door where her nose and head hit, a big dent on back door where chest hit, scuffed paint on front half of the bed, a scuffed up tire, two more dents above my fender well, and a gouged wheel. She also hit my mud flap, breaking the mounting strap, and bending the rear section of my bed. There was no damage to the trailer. I guess the mud flap flung her out of the way!
WOW!

Man that is crazy, I just had that happen 2 weeks ago on a saturday morning!! I was coming home around 4 am from washing and I feel the trailer sway around and bump a little, I say what was that, I stop go back and look at the trailer and the side is bashed in and the fender ripped off. So I go walking down the road and there she was, in the ditch, I drug her out and put her in the freezer.
I was just glad it was my trailer and not my truck.

Sorry man, hope it don't cost too much to get fixed up.

On my way home from an out of town job Saturday morning, there was a deer just standing on the side of the road so I slowed down a lot just in case, it just stood there looking at the road, very strange as usually they run across the road or go back into the woods.

It is that time of the year. I find if I can find a "rabbit" (a car to stay in front of us) they usually flush out the deer and take the hit.

Had the same thing happen winter before last. Just driving down the road minding my own business when BAM, a deer ran into my front passenger fender and rolled down the side of my truck.

Scared the crap out of my dog who was sitting in the passenger seat.
