I was thinking about ordering one, until I realized that I had all the pieces laying around my garage to build one. I'm sure that I will have to replace the pump with a Delavan eventually, but for now it works for what I need.
We had a shur flow sprayer and it worked good. Afterwe got our deckster we will not go back to the shur flow for spraying decks. We have have to rebuild it but we have had it for 5 or 6 years.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with a pump setup from extra parts at home.
It think it is great and cost efficient. And just plain cool.
But, nothing beats a deckster IMO.
Conner, if are in a position to get a deckster. Do it. It's a great investment that pays for itself in no time.
But I definately like your homebrew model as well.
I had a setup like that years ago that I had attached a small plastic hose reel at the top of the dolly in front of the handle. It was actually Scott Koravan's idea but he let me borrow the idea for my setup.
