Deal or No Deal???

I don't think it will do a very steep roof.It is only 2.1 gpm at low pressure as the pressure goes up the gpm goes down.

I have a similiar pump that I have used for roofs but only walk able ones due to the pressure is not there.I think the price is a little high unless everything is new.the base on it will be eaten up in just a short time by the bleach.

the tank and everything else would be nice to have especially the skid however if it were me I would use a different pump but we would use this setup most times were working. Its a good setup however seems a bit high and you could get something different for about the same price including hose

It looks like a flo-tec pump. I have 2 of them (mine are 5 gpm though), I can get away with using one on an average roof. I run two of them combined for steeper and 2 story roofs. Run them both off of a marine battery and can do atleast 2 roofs before charging. Purchased them @ Northern for $125 each, been using for about 6 mnths so far and they kick butt. BTW the 2 year warranty is only 6 bucks. Of course they aren't the best available but they make great starters, they've earned enough to move to the next level.

Would this work for the occasional roof. I know the hose has to go. But Im thinking of something like this to put in the back of my truck, so I dont take up anymore space on the trailer...What do you think???

imo your paying 275 for the tank alone. The pump and everything else wouldn't do any good. Bob at pressure tek has a Delevan kit with everything but a tank and battery for a little over 300. That's the route I would go, that way you know you have reliable equipment that can get the job done. You can suck from a 55gal drum and hook to your truck battery to avoid buying a tank/battery since its just an occasional thing for now. Even if you don't do many roofs you could still use the setup for applying cleaners/strippers, transferring chems, softwashing, etc.http://www.pressuretek.com/de58secorocl.html
