Dc Area Snow! $$$!!! Bring Your Blades!

WOW. We're getting socked. We haven't had a snowfall like this since 1996. We had OVER a foot last night, 6 inches or so the day before, and it's not stopping until late Monday. We are supposed to get over a foot today, and then another foot tonight and into tomorrow. You're facing 3+ FEET.

Anyone out of state with a plow blade who is not working.... MARYLAND is a GOLDMINE right now. The state is underprepared. WISH we had a blade.

Come on down (or up if your southern) and make some money! But do us a favor... PLOW OUR STREET PLEASE!

Seriously...you can stop in, use the phone, warm up... you may even get a home cooked meal. We're not going anywhere.

We are on the edge of that storm. We are getting ice down here in Williamsburg. It was raining a while ago and it is only 22 degrees. We might get 6 to 12 inch's of snow till Monday. I hope it does not give us that much. If I had a plow I would come up and clean your street out.

I hope you have the snow cleaned out by next weekend.

Thanks Lenny! Be careful in that ice, it's worse than the snow is. Much more hazardous, largely because you can't always see it on the roads and people think it's gone...no big deal...then they slide into you.

I'll let you know if it will be a problem for the round table. I am sure it will be plowed by then. My guess is, by wednesday we'll be fine. They're working on the primary roads and highways, they say the exits are ify. Forget the back roads. Everyone with 4 wheel drive is encouraged to give doctors and nurses a ride to their shifts at local hospitals. Everyone else is encouraged to stay off the roads.
