It was about 8 hours into my day. I jumped in my truck to go back to the good ol fire hydrant for a fill up and someone says hey. I looked over in the passenger seat and the devil was sitting there. He said "can I just sit here in the A/C for a minute". I can't take the heat! I don't know about you but I'm going back to hell, it's too damn hot up here! At least I think that happened!!!!

Just a reminder to everyone to stay hydrated. Damn its hottttt!!!!!:eek:

WOW! That post just FREAKED me out. I felt a chill and the hair on my arms stood up. LOL...Your right Spencer, it is HOT...

That same thing happened to me in the 70's !!!

We reached 102 also. I was sitting in the truck talking to someone that pulled up next to me, and when I drove away the temp gauge showed 108! We've stopped working in the middle afternoon. At noon we stop and start back up at 3-4 if we need to.

That was too funny!!!!! hahahahahahaha

That is not hot. Of course, it has not been particularly hot in Phoenix this summer. I think that the highest we have hit was 108. I start feeling it at 110. Of course, it is a dry heat, kind of like an oven.

Heat index of 112 yesterday. 3 roofs alone avg 3200 sq ft. employee was sick. I gotta stop dipping, and Mountain dews. We'll be alright! Lord, Keep the work pumping! When it gets hot, people get lazy! More work for those who want it.

This has been the best spring I've ever experienced in Las Vegas. It was probably about 103 today and it wasn't bad at all. I know it's coming (because Al Gore told me so) but I'm going to enjoy it while it's here.
