Hey everyone, it is the end of the year and my CPA said that I need to up grade my trailer. So here I go again.....
I am installing (2) 15 K each with a 2 inch cylinder surronded by a 4 inch sq steel tube, Hydraulic jacks, independent of each other, on each side of the trailer behind the back tires.
These jacks will, at a push of a button, will raise or lower each side up off the ground. Swivel high load capacity wheels will be installed so that we may move the trailer in a tight spot, or around a column.

These axles will have NO SPRINGS, and are truly independent suspension. They are the latest advancement in trailer suspension. They will have a 3 inch drop.
I'm also rewiring, hose, all fuel, electrical, hoses, etc. that are on the floor of the trailer to the underneath which will be a 3 X 4 inch rectangle Galvanized tube to house all of the fuel, water and electrical lines, we will have 4 tubes running length wise from back to front.
The other reason I am doing this is because this trailer weighs in at 11k with no water in the tank. The axles are rated for 12 k. If I was to hit a deep pot hole, It would be possible to damage or even crack the axles in two. And the third reason, we tried to lift the trailer up with a 4 ton large floor jack on 1 side, with no water in the tank, at the tire shop. The large jack had a problem.......the seal on the jack .... broke.
I am selling my axles for $600 with tires if anybody wants them. The trailer manufacture already offered $550.
