Copper runoff

Mike Hughes

Former Board Administrator
Any suggestion what to use to remove runoff stains from copper onto stucco?

Oxalic acid? CLR? Anyone do this before?

I have a house wash job, and I'd like to make some sort of impact on these stains............

Thanks.

Other then that............?

I won't touch the stuff...........his house can stay stained before I whip that out.........

Thanks for the response.

mike, a pocket knife can cut a finger off if used backward's.
Just dip a brush in a weakened solution and then hit it with soap.
Try oxalic adid if your not game.
Also MAG WHEEL CLEANER[pink spray] will do it.
It has buffered HF in it.

Hydrochloric / Muriatic acid based cleaners (such as Prosoco 600 Detergent with 1:6 dilution or less) should work very well on these stains.
