Chris Detter is our newly elected PWNA president.

Mike Hughes Made the Board,,, Congratulations Mike Hughes.

I Support the PWNA and I believe that these individuals can and will make big differences in this industry.

Good Luck to the entire Board they have their work cut out. Lets Help them………..
 
Congrats to Chris Detter and Mike Hughes in there elections to there new positions. Also to the other guys who I don't really know.

We now have proper representation. I'm looking forward to the new year ahead. Good luck to our new officers.

Mike Congrads for becoming the new PWNA board member, things will slowly but surely change for the better now.

To Chris and all other board members, please listen to Mike and you will get a whole new perspective about what current, former and possible new members want.

Personally I would start with lowering the membership fee from day one, that will I believe bring in new and former members.

I would love to see them lower the membership cost but I cant see that happening. They have around 360 members some which are contractors and other are Distributers suppliers and manufacturers. Price ranges from $250-$450.

I feel that all but the contractors are a fair price. Those other 3 will make there money back from doing the conventions alone. IF the PWNA wants to charge $250 for the contractors then they have to offer us more then what they are already doing such as saving a $100 to go to the convention.

If they can't do that then yes lower there membership fee for us. But with 360+ paid members I think it will be unrealistic in hoping that they will do just that.

It will be great hearing from Mike and Chris and hopefully a few others on what they plan to do for us guys here.

Thank you Everyone for your support and congrats,

Sorry It took me so long to get back on the BBS. Life has been a whirlwind since I got back from Fl.
The convention (although smaller than we had wished for) in Miami was a success, I had 28 in the wood school, We had 20 exhibitors, and around 150 participants who went to the seminars and round table discussions.

I have so much to share with everyone about the many upcoming changes thet are being put in place right now.
I will have a complete list of the many benifits and changes hopefully by the middle of next week.

My plans are too have a forum on Ron's site titled "PWNA Today" or something like that, and the board members and other members and non-members can respond to and ask anything they want regarding all concerns. We are listening, and changes are eminent.

When you hear them I think everyone will be as excited as I am.
Like I said in the general session to members, Were gonna shake the entire organization up, like Emeril Lagasse sez 'Were gonna kick it up another notch".

I know these two guy's will bring a lot to the party and help me kick the PWNA in the (I mean) up another notch.
