I know some of you guys do interior floors and restaurants. Those who do that kind of service, could you please guide me to some reputable brands and models? Also non-abrasive materials used for polishing concrete and tiles?
no buffing here, though I've considered it since I own a couple buffers. Stipping I was referring to was to strip (remove) flooring surface in the kitchens back to bare cement.

It's a few restaurants that we pressure clean (outside) and they all have this done monthly. No stripping, only polishing the concrete and tiles. I was asked If I want to take over this service, but I have no knowledge in this field. If it's a whole different science, I'll pass on it. If it's a simple task as it looks, I don't mind adding another nice piece of equipment as long as it's not over $1000ish..
I didn't see my exact models, but then mine are old. They are 1.5 hp with a slow revolution. 18 inch. We use them with cotton bonnets for cleaning carpet in motels. Not sure what you are going to be using them for, but if you are waxing and stipping you want a high speed model.
