college football

ROLL TIDE...makes saying go Ducks/Beavers sorta lame...My state kind of sucks for sports, except for that NCAA Championship in Baseball last month.
 
I am a Sun Devils Graduate, so I always pull for them!! But, I am back in my home state of Georgia, so I have been a lifetime Bulldogs fan. I think we have a good chance to roll this year. A lot like Sun Devils the undefeated season, a lot of real good players, but no real superstars. Jake Plummer had a lot of hype and is a great guy, but could have not done it without a lot of help on offense and defense.

Jake Plummer was and continues to be a putz. He is too taken with himself and the moderate success he has had to be a team player.

But then, I really do not watch much football, even though I have season tickets.

Running backs we are loaded with power and speed. Quarterback is our big question, not sure if we are going with the 5th year senior or a younger development type player. Defense we will be tough as always, offensive line might be a question mark. If our quarterback can settle into a routine I think we will have an explosive offense.

The quarterback that we recruited was a Parade all american, as a matter of fact, he was on the cover of Parade. I hope he lives up to the hype. The talk on the sports talk radio shows is all about how soon he will play then start.

yall have had a few off seasons....good starts though ....mabe yall will pull it together ....i miss our tough games we used to have

Russ, we have high hopes that the games will be tough again. With the Razorbacks on the winning side.

SEC football - It doesn't get any better. Starting early on Saturday mornings and going late into the evening. I can already smell the smoke from the grills.
