cold weather equipment tip

I don't know how everyone prepares thier equipment for the cold nights. I blow all the water out of my pumps and hoses with this air fitting I made up. If you make one up, be sure to pour the air to it slowly until the water gets to flowing out. There's no need to open it all the way up, it will push the water out with it craked open.

I have something similar, although no valve and it has a pressure wash quick connect on the end. I use it to blow out hose reels and hoses that I won't be using for awhile. Easy to make and can save a lot of time and money as you won't freeze or destroy as many hoses.
